by Gail McFarlandThis short story is a reminder of how easy it is to look through the window of someone else's life and believe they have the perfect life. As friends and neighbors, a set of couples are able to see the contrasts in their relationships. What they aren't able to see is that what looks good on the surface isn't always the whole picture. The story allows readers to have a front yard view of the disaster that could happen if a person allows what glitters to convince them it's gold without further research.
