Baby Beluga [PDF]

by Raffi Cavoukian
Baby Beluga is one of famed children’s singer/songwriter Raffi’s most beloved songs, and in this charmingly illustrated board book his song is brought to life for babies and toddlers. The story follows the “little white whale on the go” through lively illustrations that correspond perfectly with the original Baby Beluga song lyrics.Make note that if parents try reading this book without singing the song or knowing the correct tune, it does not flow right or sound very appealing read-aloud. For this reason it is definitely recommended that parents learn the tune of the Baby Beluga song before reading this book to their little ones to get the most enjoyment out of the story.Babies and toddlers will be encouraged to learn the familiar tune and sing-along, especially the repetitious “Baby Beluga, Oh Baby Beluga” verse. They will also be introduced to many arctic animals (and an Eskimo child) through the descriptive and detailed illustrations in the book.Baby Beluga is a nice complement to Raffi’s adored song, and will introduce both the song and story to a wider audience of young children through this board book version.
