by Christopher ConlonThis book is very special to me. I was moved that Chris mentioned my husband's g-g-grandfather, James Henry Douglass, who was a Union soldier stationed at Fort Barry (Arlington, VA?) when Lincoln was assassinated. Douglass wrote a letter about the aftermath of the assassination.
Conlon has an incredible gift for poetry and fiction. I read more fiction than poetry, but I know a good poet when I see one.
Writing fiction and poetry is like breathing to Chris. It's necessary and effortless.
